Benefited by the excellent indigenous species of cacao, associating the current study and technical development of the dedicated producer, Nicaragua has produced cocoa with increasing quality. Especially, the cocoa Nicalizo, which is an authentic fruit of ancient jewelry, recognized as “Heirloom Cacao” by the HCP (Heirloom Cacao Preservation Fund).

It results in a light brown chocolate, with good acidity and a ripe aroma that reminds of dried fruits such as raisins, plums or dates. It leaves soft tannins with nuances of toasted wood. To pair, tawny Port wine, Madeira wine or brandy will provide a perfect harmonization.

Ingredients: Cocoa beans from Nicaragua (Nicalizo®), Cane Sugar and Cocoa Butter.
